Maintenance and Improvements: We offer partner agencies below-market rental space, reducing operational costs and allowing them to focus on client services. Ongoing maintenance and upgrades are required for accessibility and dignity for all in our 98-year-old facility.

Since our inception, the local community's generous donations, grants, materials, and loans have allowed us to invest about $800,000 in improvements, benefiting our agencies and their clients.

The Founding and Current Board Members have collectively contributed $492,161, showcasing a 100% giving rate.

Supported by funding from the State of South Carolina, we're carrying out a $1 million project to install fire sprinklers at Pathways, enhancing safety across the facility.

(Completed) Phase 1: The Life House Cottage is a 30-bed emergency shelter for women.

ADVISED FUNDS
Donor-advised funds can easily be set up through a community foundation or your financial institution. If you already have a donor-advised fund that participates in DAF Direct, you can recommend grants to support Pathways Community Center.
IRA QUALIFIED CHARITABLE DISTRIBUTIONS
If you are over 70 ½, talk to your financial advisor or investment account custodian about giving to Pathways directly from your Traditional IRA so that you can avoid income tax and satisfy your required minimum distribution.
