Monthly Giving Moves the Mission Forward

At Pathways, real change happens when community members, partners, and donors come together with one shared vision: helping people move from crisis to self-sufficiency. That’s the power of monthly giving.

Your recurring gift—no matter the size—provides consistent support that keeps our collaborative campus strong. It allows on-site partners to offer vital services like housing support, job training, addiction recovery, and mental health care, all under one roof. It also ensures that the people we serve don’t just receive help—they find hope, stability, and a path forward.

Hope in Action

Our campus has been full of movement, gratitude, and heart. From hands-on service projects to hot meals shared with love, community members have been pouring their time and talents into helping us create a more dignified, welcoming space for every person we serve.

At Pathways, we believe true transformation happens when practical support is paired with hope. Whether it’s landscaping, light repairs, serving a meal, or partnering with one of our on-site agencies—there are countless ways to show up and make a meaningful impact.

Opportunities for Upward Mobility

In partnership with SC Works Catawba, we are proud to host the Connection Job Fair at Pathways on Tuesday, July 29th—a day designed to do more than connect people with jobs. It was about walking alongside individuals on their journey toward self-sufficiency.

Throughout this month, there were opportunities to receive hands-on support in preparation for success. Partners provided résumé assistance and interview coaching, helping job seekers confidently present their skills and experiences. Thanks to the generosity of Oakland Baptist Church, attendees also had access to the Ministry Center for interview clothes—ensuring they had appropriate attire to feel prepared and polished.

At the job fair, attendees can apply for jobs, connect with background-friendly employers, and even participate in real-time interviews. With job opportunities aligned to public transit routes, this event was thoughtfully designed to reduce barriers and provide practical, dignified pathways forward.

Reflecting on June: Collective Impact in Action

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our on-site partners, nine individuals successfully transitioned into independent housing. These aren’t just housing placements—they represent stories of renewed stability, hope, and forward momentum.
